I always enjoy this event so I hope it's back again this year!

What would hosting an activity require? I might do a friending meme; I've always wanted to host a friending meme. 🤔

That sounds great. Are you thinking a general one for the event, or one more specific to a type of interest/fandom?

My current ideas:
- tarot draw post at my journal (I've done tarot prompts before, but it seems everyone assumed it was a reading anyways heh)
- ABCs of Comics at my journal. Basically a rec list of stuff to read. Would be really cool to get a bunch of "ABCs of..." lists going *gentlest of nudges*
- ooh maybe a One X-Files Episode A Day Reaction Post (I'll be starting s2, and mostly I'll just be saying Scully is pretty and smart and Mulder is looking at her The Right Way, with possible images to prove just how pretty and Smart and Right).

- Community rec post for a song each that's been bringing joy this year.
- Community post with DW community recs.
- I'm sure various questionnaires and memes will be making the rounds again.
- Maybe bring back the scavenger hunt.
- Project Hail Mary icon battle 👎 at iconbattles

Hmm; three weeks is pretty much exactly enough time for a one-a-day Minimum Track mood theme, with three days off. I could make a calendar for that! And a bonus Medium Track calendar, for the extra hard core.

I'm also planning to make some Dreamsheep icons in various colors.

I might post something at kittens_and_spitefic?

If it runs again, I'll be doing a ficathon on the various communities I'm running. All three of them o_o

I would love to participate, though I have no idea what to do for it. Do you just do anything? I'm sure I could come up with something! I also run rimworld and youtuberecs so maybe I could set something up in those places.

The point is to whip up more activity on DW/appreciation for DW. So really, anything goes. You can browse entries from earlier years to get an idea, but nothing is set in stone. If you'd like to host an activity, go for it!

I was planning on mentioning youtuberecs in the community rec post this year. Such a useful and fun community.

I definitely enjoy this event and plan on participating! I would love to have a virtual potluck at vegansofdreamwidth where we all share recipes, but that community is pretty quiet atm.

I would also love to do something relating to my exploration of witchcraft and the Wheel of the Year, but I'm not sure yet what that would be...

oh? I had never heard of that comm ever and I think I could join you with my awesome recipes for this virtual potluck (I'm a great cook and I love giving people ideas on how to use their stuff so I'd love to share)

I know I want to hold a second challenge in vkotd -- in the past I had planned to make it so anyone who posts in the comm or comments something during 3w4dw is put into a raffle for points/a paid account, but I dunno...
In my own journal I think I might take doodle requests from any Dreamwidth account (with some limitations on what I'll draw ofc), maybe. I also want to make every post of each type listed here.
Lastly, I think it'd be nice if I managed to post something in almost every community I'm in, stuff that could generate conversation ^^ We shall see...

The raffle idea is a fun one, I've toyed with that myself in the past. And doodles! I'm sure people will love that :)

Awesome! I started dreamwidthing last month so I'm excited for a dreamwidth event. I'll definitely participate in some of the memes and events people are proposing.

I miss this event almost every year because it's a busy time of the year for me but I'm determined to make it this year.

Additionally, between April 25 and April 30, vampiremedia will still be holding its first drabblethon, so hopefully some people will pop by.

I recently started a comm named latam that could probably use the engagement these weeks bring, so I'd love it if anyone could suggest an event we could hold on that comm or DW-wide that would bring attention to this comm (a community made to talk about all things Latin America).

Also, also, if anyone could point me to some interesting blogging prompts for those weeks for myself, that'd be neat. thank you everyone.

3. something else maybe, I thought I had a third but it has slipped my mind video game progress? I play video games daily, so that would be something easy I could do

I've been accumulating sociological observations from the RPS LJ comm that I've been trying to archive (grad school is kicking my ass I STG), but I've enjoyed making rec posts lately so I'll probably do more of those.

That sounds interesting! It was never my playground, but I'm sure many will be interested in your observations and recs.

I haven't done this event before, but I've been thinking about doing a couple drabble-a-thons for olliesqueens & darcyland & uc_xmen. Maybe also for comicsfanfiction, tvfanfiction & animatedfanfiction?


I also was thinking of doing a 20in20 icon challenge, or maybe just a generic icon challenge for werewolvesden supergirl_tv & uc_xmen.

I'm planning a drabble-a-thon for supergirl_tv for the Summer (thanks to the release of the new movie - and am I totally calling it Summer of Supergirl or Supergirl Summer? yes, yes I am.) so that's probably why'd I'd go with an icon challenge for that community during this period of time.

I'm thinking of maybe having a prompt table with 21 prompts so one of each day of 3 weeks and the minimum can be a drabble with no maximum word count or a minimum of 500 words up to 2000 words and most of the list I have can probably be used for art, vids, playlists too.

I'd maybe host here rather than on my journal just because I'm having issues with someone I removed in my last f-list cut. Probably be the usual rules to go with it like cut texts for adult content, discretion for rpf etc. Maybe needs a bit more thinky and the list I have is almost 500 prompts to whittle down to just 21 eek.
