What are your hobbies? Watching my cats be goofs, writing, listening to music, walking
Are you involved in fandom? If so, what fandom(s)? How do you participate in fandom? Found fandom in 2005. Still there. Currently between major fandoms, formerly known for writing in DCU, Transformers, Star Wars, and Legend of Drizzt with a million smaller (older) ones in between.
Tell us about your pets: Pleakley - a pleco fish who has outlived so many schoolers, snails, shrimp, and a betta. Evie - Queen Bitch, would like to be an only cat, absolutely does not understand the other cat, and is easily overstimulated by the pets she demands. Boots - our younger cat who is deaf and apparently fails at talking cat in tone or body.
How do you spend your days? HAHAHAHA. Work. Full time. IF I have energy after, there's chores. And then MAYBE I get to sit and goof off on the internet or write. Very much an Or there.

What is the story behind your username? senmut is a bastardization of an 18th Dynasty man that I find fascinating. I'd read a very old book that used this spelling once, and chose it when I was looking for a name less connected to my writing life or my actual chosen use-name.
How long have you been on Dreamwidth? About a week or so after they opened the doors? I had an invite, that's how long.

What do you post about? Mostly? Fic updates when they happen. (Link to AO3 and one other archive, plus the full work in a DW post, cut if longer than a drabble.) I also sometimes post about my life, the people around me, or random thoughts that I would like to share.
How frequently do you post? I was every day for a long while, then things got rough. But I rarely go more than a few days without a post of some kind.

What do you like to read about on your friends page? It's a mix of fandom and real world stuff. Because that's the kind of people I look for. Ones sharing their enthusiasm about whatever it is in their lives at the moment, be it family, events, or fandom.

What are you looking for in a Dreamwidth friend? People sharing what they feel strongly about. I'd rather not have a day-in-day-out negative feed from anyone, but expect to see a mix of ups and downs. I read my circle daily, multiple times even, and while I am in a lull on commenting, I pop in quite randomly with them.
Do you have any Dreamwidth friend dealbreakers? Being anything from anywhere in the world that looks like the current regime I live under.

Favorite communities on Dreamwidth: fandom_on_dw and fandomcalendar. I get all my news there, LOL.

Reading: mostly fic; found a great writer who does Barney Miller, and crossovers with same.
Watching: When I can (visual issues), I'm working on a Farscape rewatch, a Black Sails complete watch, a Classic Doctor Who catch up (missed some seasons), and savoring Sense8 in full.
Listening to: Yes? A couple of years ago I challenged myself to return to listening to Soul and R&B, which is turning up some great stuff I missed as well as some oldies I truly loved. I decided to give Blues another try because of Sinners, and damn that was a great idea. (I feel like as a kid, I couldn't connect for lack of experience. I got experience; I connect.) And yet the pop and rock is there, along with an occasional day of country music now (mostly the ladies and those men who aren't whining about their trucks and dogs and girlfriends).
Playing: Found an early access Merge-2 Mystery game called Marie's Mysteries that I'm enjoying.
Looking forward to: I dunno? Supergirl? Street Fighter? The new Ted Lasso? Being out of debt so I can switch to part time work?
Thinking about: How jaded and cynical I feel about everything.

I had to LOL when I saw you mention Barney Miller because I've just started rewatching some Barney Miller on Tubi and read some fanfic. Do you feel like name dropping the author you've been reading? I could use a rec.
